| Start with clean, thoroughly rinsed fabrics.
Load washer to 75% or less capacity.
Add dye from kit and 30% salt (30 pounds regular table salt per 100 pounds of fabric weight) to washer. Rock salt is not recommended; however, if used the run time for the next step should be extended to 15 minutes.
Add 110oF water to low level. Run for 5 minutes.
*Add pH Adjuster from kit slowly, while washer is on the down rotation away from the supply opening. Raise the temperature to 140oF and run for 45 minutes.
Drain washer.
Add hot water to high level. Add detergent to good suds. Run for 5 minutes.
Drain Washer.
Follow with high-level, cold water rinses until drain water is clear. |
