Mat Dye Kits
Each Mat Dye Kit contains twelve water
soluble "Quik Paks" of dye and will dye 400 pounds of mat. Standard usage,
three paks per 100 pounds of mat.
Important: Grease, oil and detergent residue on mats can adversely affect the
dispersion of dye on fibers. It is very important to thoroughly scour and rinse mats
before dyeing. A pre-dye wash of ten minutes at 175 Degrees F (using a heavy
alkaline detergent) followed by three high level rinses at 140 Degrees is strongly
recommended.
