Instructions For Dyeing Shop Towels

New fabrics should be thoroughly cleaned at high temperatures using an alkaline detergent to remove sizing.

Operation Level Temperature Time Supplies
1. Wash Low 175 Degrees 10 to 15 1lb. Alkaline detergent per 100-lb load
2. Rinse High Hot 2
3. Dye High 150-180 Degrees 15* 2 packets dye per 100-lb load

**The addition of salt at 4 lbs. per 100 lb of load will considerably increase the speed of dye exhaustion through the load.

Instructions For Touch-Up Dyeing

The dyeing operation should be the second hot rinse after the last detergent bath.

Operation Level Temperature Time Supplies
1.Dye High 150-180 Degrees 6-Jan 1 packet dye per 200-lb load
